But here is my recipe for a healthy warm winter ginger-banana-chocolate-bread:
Winter Banana Bread
- 2 cups oats
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 banana
- 2 eggs - seperated
- 1 Tsp cinnamon
- 1 Tsp gingerbread seasoning ( or any other like pumpkin)
- 1 Tsp vanilla
- 1 Tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- dash of salt
- 1|2 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 175° C.
- Grind oats and roughly chop walnuts. Mash Banana and set aside.
- Seperate eggs and stiffen egg whites.
- Mix all ingredients except egg whites.
- Carefully fold in the egg whites and chocolate chips or other desired toppings.
- Grease baking dish and add dough.
- Bake for 20 minutes until stick comes out clean.
- Enjoy your Bread warm in front of the fire place.
